Hey,

**Shadows of the Crown** is on a Kindle Countdown deal this week. It opens today at **$2.99**, steps up as the days run down, and goes back to full price after June 30.

This is the one where Elena is sixteen, her mother the queen has been poisoned into a coma, and the crown lands on her the same week the kingdom of Valdris marches on her borders. Everyone around her sees a child. What she does next, nobody sees coming — she rides out to make an alliance with the enemy prince who is supposed to be destroying her. Some shadows only fall to an unexpected kind of light.

The earlier in the week you grab it, the less you pay — that is just how the countdown works.

**P.S.** If you like political fantasy with a slow-burn enemies-to-allies thread, this is the most “both of those can be true” book in the series. Hit reply and tell me if you saw the ending coming.
